Before submitting your grant request, we ask that you check for similar technologies that may be available in the district or underused and available within your school/district.
Note: Applicants must attend the CEF presentation meeting to explain their application and answer inquiries from the Board. Recipients may also be asked to share their grant outcome(s) with the Board or at a CEF event. Please prepare a retrospective review of accomplishments and benefits for your student population served, including photos (if applicable), final budget, and receipt(s) for any related expenditure(s) as required.
Submission of a successful grant request authorizes CEF to use photos, students’ work, and other materials on our website and/or in other publicity. This may enhance the general public’s interest in donating for this cause. CEF will check to make sure use of student photos is pre-approved.
Grant approval, and the amount of any funding, is at the discretion of the CEF Board of Directors and is subject to availability of funds, granting guidelines, and CEF priorities.
Successful grant projects, and the amount of funding approved, will be received through your school bookkeeper and CSD Finance Office Accounting Manager Caryn Davis where the forms for payment will be received and processed. CEF will reimburse the District once requirements are met.
* An April request may be considered for early Fall 2018 activity (dependent on funds availability). Grant submission deadlines will be strictly followed.
